About Moonlight Tai Chi

The goal of Moonlight Tai Chi is to make wellness accessible to everyone through the practice of Tai Chi Chuan, complemented by some Qigong.

Just about everyone can improve their health through Tai Chi regardless of their fitness level or body type. You can take a casual approach to practice or you can become a very serious student – there's a great degree of flexibility that can be controlled by your stance and your intentions.

All levels are welcome.
Note from Student to Teacher
I just want you to know that you are a
really good teacher – not just because you are
so positive in your students' efforts but you
explain things very clearly and it makes sense!
-- Inger, Long-time student

About the Instructor

Sharon Sierra has had the privilege of studying under many talented teachers: Master Tung Kai Ying and Master Tung Chen Wei of Los Angeles, CA; Paul Drake and Viki Kiman in Littleton, NH and Bridgewater, NH; Madeleine Piat-Landolt in Lincoln, VT; and Chris Kiely in Middlebury, VT.

In addition, the many Master-led workshops she has attended have enabled her to interact with students and other teachers from all over the world. Sharon continues to attend classes and workshops on a regular basis. She has been studying Tai Chi for 10 years and teaching for 5 years.

Moonlight Connection

Why Moonlight Tai Chi? I feel a strong connection to the moon and seeing it in the sky always brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart. Upon getting home late after classes, if the moon is shining, I often can't resist practicing some more. When doing Tai Chi Chuan on my own, I am usually outdoors. It is especially rewarding to be out when the snow is falling; and in the summer evenings, the frog song adds a magical touch.
